Schutzhaus Lila Vom Sackett

Lila was born in August 2021, a Schutzhaus puppy from Schutzhaus German Shepherds.  She is a black and cream saddleback.  The picture shown with her puppies has her winter coat on, so she is darker than what she normally is. Lila is very sweet and loves to run beside our son on his bike.  Lila is very athletic, but is not hyper, she plays when it's play time then relaxes. She's always up for a belly rub or petting in general. 

Lila is a fantastic mother and is very kind natured. We anticipate Lila to be standard size with a mature weight around 80 lbs.  Lila carries the Royalair German Shepherd bloodlines.

TESTING:  Lila's Embark testing will be completed soon.  Embark tests for over 200 genetic health conditions. Lila's DM will be normal, and she will be a non-carrier based on her parentage, since neither parent are carriers of DM.  That means that Lila can only transmit the normal gene to her offspring, and is unlikely that she or her offspring will ever develop DM.  Lila's PennHIP distraction index was 0.36.  Her PennHIP test is shown below.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to Sackett Shepherds, Schutzhaus Temperance (Tempe) Vom Sackett.  Tempe was born a Schutzhaus German Shepherd in November of 2022.  She is a beautiful silver sable.  We are thrilled to have her become a Sackett Shepherd! We are expecting Bear and Tempe to have a litter available this summer! Tempe is very smart and loving, we know she’s going to be a wonderful momma. Her pennhip test came back good.
